A design for a client who gave me a list of elements she wanted. I work really well with an open scope and a general direction with distinguished elements. I find it exciting for people to give me their ideas because it pushes me to include things I wouldn’t have thought of myself.
I created this piece to be a tattoo and here you can see the various elements in isolation. Everything was drawn and coloured on Photoshop using a Wacom Intuos drawing tablet. I am self taught on Photoshop and love it when I can’t achieve what I want because it requires me to find out how. In that process my skills improve.
I also went back into the design at an earlier stage after the design was finished to take it in a new direction.
Pure experimentation is the essence of design and creation and digital art gives me the scope to achieve this while my living environment is so transient.
