Vietnamese Dreams

Watercolour and Ink - A4

I often think there is a thin veil piercing reality, that when lifted or wrinkled, creates paranormal or strange phenomena. I Imagine there is someone dreaming on the top floor of this flat and his subconscious activity is creating bubbles of surreality through which to view an alternative universe.

This piece partners with ‘Media Overload’ as they were drawn on the same rooftop in Vietnam after being saturated by the country’s culture. I drew inspiration from photographs I’d taken of the architecture and the craft pieces that were sold in local markets.

Prints available in the shop.
